An Evening to Savour

Where the glass
meets the table.

Nocturne brings together a small circle of guests for a single night built entirely around the dialogue between food and wine. Six courses, six pours, each chosen not to accompany the other but to complete it.

Our chef and sommelier design the evening as one continuous conversation — course by course, glass by glass — in a room set for intimacy rather than spectacle. This is not a tasting. It is a table.

  • Six curated wine pairings
  • Chef-designed tasting menu
  • Live sommelier narration
  • Seating for 40 guests only
  • Candlelit private dining room
  • Curated conversation, no rush

The People Behind the Experience

Meet your host

Amara Kilonzo
Master Sommelier

Amara trained at the Cape Wine Academy before spending six years curating cellars for private clients across East Africa. She designs every Nocturne pairing personally, tasting each vintage against the season's menu before it is confirmed.

Chef Julien Moreau
Executive Chef

Formerly of a two-Michelin-starred kitchen in Lyon, Julien now leads Nocturne's rotating pop-up dinners across Nairobi. His menus favour restraint — few ingredients, precisely handled — built to let each wine speak.
